Product Manager Engine Controls (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:
  • • Analysis of market trends and requirements in the area of combustion engine controls supported by visits and interviews with clients, congresses and internal stakeholders• Strategic planning and roadmap definition for engineering services and products• Regular roadmap update and R&D planning in collaboration with the technical development team and internal stakeholders• Support of exhibitions, customer presentations in customer seminars, sales initiatives, congresses & roadshows (pre-sales)• Identify possible cooperation partners to strengthen AVL portfolio• Develop and expand internal and external social network• Interface to the customer, sales and aligned departments• Coordination of offer preparation between development and sales and active support in the bidding process
Your Profile:
  • • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Computer Science or similar• At least 3 years of experience in Combustion Software (Gasoline, Diesel), Marketing or Product Management• High social competence and good communication skills• Enthusiasm for automotive development and technical innovation• Sound knowledge and understanding of internal combustion engines and their use in road vehicles• Experience abroad desirable• Flexibility and willingness to travel• Personality is more than anything!
