Project Engineer - Controls & Electronics (#2019-2367)
Project Engineer—Controls & Electronics for an independent company in Plymouth, MI engaged in the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines as well as instrumentation and test systems. Position duties are planning & executing functional integration of automotive powertrain control systems for transmission and driveline operations including conducting system analyses & modeling; utilizing MATLAB and Simulink to perform software builds and application releases; and completing technical studies, data analysis and validations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 1 year experience in job duties as stated or alternatively a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 1 year experience utilizing MATLAB and Simulink to design powertrain control systems including designing algorithms for passive safety applications for vehicle platforms and completing technical studies, data analysis and validations.
