AVL Research and Engineering Turkey is a member of the AVL Group with more than 10.000 employees working worldwide on the development of vehicle powertrains, controls, software, instrumentation and test systems. We are looking for highly qualified and talented individuals to join our engineering team at R&D Centers in Istanbul.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develops relationships within existing customer base as well as establishing relationships with new customers above and beyond current base
  • Identifies new business opportunities for AVL for Software Sales and Project Sales
  • Analyses of new customers and their potential
  • Identifies future challenges faced by customers and how AVL can support to solve such challenges Independently scoping out project requirements with input from technical teams and senior management
Your Profile:
  • Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales or sales support in automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of automotive powertrains (eg; engines, transmissions, hybrid architectures)
  • Open to very frequent travel
  • Fluency in English
  • Preferable:
  • Experience with CAE Tools : FEA, CFD, Systems Modelling etc
  • Experience with sales tools and software, for example
