AVL iGEM Vehicle - Flexible and Scalable Emissions Test Automation

A future-proof automation system for emissions test automation on chassis dynamometers, now with new application packages for hybrid testing and complying with EPA 1066, GTR-15 and ready for RDE testing.

International emission legislations are changing constantly, as are engine designs and measurement methods. Manufacturers and suppliers alike need to adapt to these constantly changing requirements. This drives the growing demand for innovative solutions in the automation of emission tests. AVL iGEM Vehicle uniquely offers this high degree of adjustability for different testbed configurations and different user needs – keeping the user in control in a challenging marketplace.

The software allows for:

  • Fully-automated procedures in the preparation of measurement devices for testing, calibration and checks
  • Simple and effective integration of new measurement devices using device abstraction and an extensive driver library
  • Valid emission test certification packages covering all current standards including hybrid, EPA 1066 as well as GTR-15
  • Efficient tools to create customized test cycles and test applications.

Prepared for the Future

AVL iGEM Vehicle offers the best solutions for passenger car, medium-duty, heavy-duty as well as motorcycle emission automation on chassis dynamometer testbeds. Based on decade-long experience in the automation of emission testbeds, iGEM Vehicle is designed for the future, making it a safe and worthwhile investment.

René Müller, the Global Product Manager iGEM Vehicle: "The tests for electric range, electric energy consumption, CO2 & fuel consumption and emission results are reliable and can be executed fully automated when needed. In addition, the AVL iGEM Offline evaluation software is included, which provides automatically validated reports. A key feature is that the new iGEM Vehicle hybrid packages cover the regulations for EU, US and Japan legislation."
