At AVL RACING our unique integrated toolchain covers the entire simulation process. From vehicle dynamics simulation to automated data analysis and results visualization, it encompasses the whole system in real time.
You can use AVL VSM (Vehicle Simulation Model) for fully dynamic lap time simulation and optimization, either locally on a PC or in the cloud, greatly amplifying the computing power. In the cloud it is possible to analyze up to 100,000 laps to find the best possible setup for race day. AVL VSM contains comprehensive models of the whole vehicle and the environment. Each parameter can be varied automatically to run big jobs efficiently.
VSM has a world-class dynamic driver model, which is capable of driving at the limit of the vehicle’s capabilities with various car setups.
Standalone or the Full Package

AVL SIMBOOK™ visualizes the analysis obtained by DRIVE RACE, helping trackside engineers find quick setup solutions. Capable of handling more than 50,000 setups it offers a variety of ways to view data. Vehicle setups can be narrowed and chosen by constraining outputs such as handling or stability for every corner.
AVL KINSOLVER™, is a kinematics tool for racing suspension variants. It evaluates the effect of hardpoint coordinate changes on lap time, driveability and handling. This is done through its integration with the lap time simulation tool VSM.

CRUISE M enables the modeling of the driveline, electric network and control strategies, and shows their impact upon energy consumption. Different physical domains can be modeled in detail, including thermodynamics, mechanical and chemical systems, flow and electric.
This level of detail gives engineers valuable insights that aid the design and optimization of a variety of sub-systems and processes. These include engine gas exchange, combustion, and cooling circuits, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic networks.
