Shift Line Optimization for Powertrain Drivability

The growing number of vehicle variants and the high cost pressure increasingly require calibration methods which reduce the necessary number of prototypes.

The calibration of driving and shift strategies in modern hybrid vehicles and conventional powertrains is characterized by conflicting requirements. Particularly those concerning drivability typically have to rely on subjective evaluation methods. Until now, engineers had no method or off-the-shelf tool at their disposal, which supported them in evaluating driving or shift strategies in terms of drivability, focusing on the proper gear and powertrain state.

Join this Live Webinar to learn more about the objective offline assessment of shift strategies.

In this Webinar, AVL demonstrates how a typical model set up is assessed:
  • Analyze results
  • Compare to target drivability
  • Optimize shift lines to reach the target behavior
Experience how easy it is to frontload shiftline calibration to an early vehicle development stage.

AVL cordially invites you to join the one of our webinars on October 31, 2018.
