The automotive industry is facing a number of challenges from increasingly strict global CO2 restrictions, increasing complexity due to new, emerging technologies and the large variety of propulsion systems. Thus, testing on a testbed has become a necessity, not just an option. A state-of-the-art test environment must not only be able to handle this complexity but also enable virtual development for real-world driving conditions along with durability and misuse test capability.

EMCON 6 Testbed Controller

The EMCON 6 Testbed Controller is an independent operating, control, and monitoring system for a wide range of testbed applications, including internal combustion engine, electric motor, and e-axle testing. The system controls the key load conditions between the loading system (dynamometer) and the unit under test, and can be seamlessly integrated into existing environments. In addition, the AVL Virtual Studio simulation for e-axle testing or custom simulation models can be incorporated.

EMCON 6 Dyno Controller

The EMCON 6 Dyno Controller is a stand-alone control system for single dynamometers, providing simple and intuitive operation of the load system. Featuring proven control algorithms and high-performance real-time control, it is optimized for the dynamic load control requirements of modern test systems. As a result, it offers an ideal interface for seamlessly integrating new load systems into existing testbed infrastructures.

Operating Panel TP400

The high-quality 10.1-inch touch display responds to touch gestures and provides the operator with haptic feedback to confirm their selection. Combined with the two rotary encoders for setpoint adjustment, it enables exceptionally safe and highly intuitive manual operation of the testbed.
