AVL proudly participated in the FISITA World Mobility Conference 2025 in Barcelona, a landmark event that brought together global leaders, innovators, and experts in the field of mobility and automotive technology. The conference served as a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas, exploring future trends, and fostering collaboration across the industry.
With more than 2,000 mobility experts, over 300 speakers, and 130 exhibitors, the conference offered knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration across the global mobility ecosystem.
As part of our commitment to driving technological advancement and sustainable mobility, AVL contributed significantly to the event with five insightful presentations delivered by our experts. Each session addressed key challenges and emerging opportunities in the mobility industry, reflecting AVL’s thought leadership and expertise across a wide range of disciplines.

The following presentations were delivered by AVL experts:

  • Diagnostic Data Event Detection Using Machine Learning Algorithms” –  Sanja Krznarić explored how machine learning can enhance diagnostic capabilities by identifying critical events in vehicle data.
  • What is the Future of Propulsion Technology: Synergies and Innovations” – Gerhard Meister provided a forward-looking perspective on propulsion systems and the integration of innovative technologies.
  • Eco-Design of a Passenger Car Traction Battery: Sustainable Batteries Myth or Reality?” – Martin Rothbart examined the environmental impact and feasibility of sustainable battery design.
  • Automating Battery Diagnostics with Data-Driven MLOps on European Dataspaces” – George Geevarghese presented a data-centric approach to battery diagnostics using machine learning operations.
  • Automating Simulation Model Creation and Requirements Derivation in Cyber-Physical Systems Using SysML and AI” – Michael Maletz showcased how AI and systems modeling can streamline simulation processes in complex systems.
