Canister Conditioning System supporting a wide range of evaporative test solutions.


AVL CANLOAD was specially designed for the automated execution of conditioning and aging cycles of canisters containing activated carbon from the automotive sector. The canister is cyclically loaded with a butane/nitrogen or a fuel vapor/nitrogen mixture and then rinsed again.
Such test procedures are a mandatory prerequisite for international type certification as part of the performance of evaporative emission or refueling tests on vehicles in a SHED chamber. CANLOAD systems serve to ensure correct functioning of the canister and its transfer to a defined operating state.
Due to the various available options, AVL CANLOAD systems are versatile to be used for pre-development as well as for research purposes.

Modular Design

The system can be expanded to up to four self-sufficient conditioning units. The modular design of the system also allows additional units to be retrofitted to meet new requirements.
