Modern electrified propulsion systems place enormous demands on today's battery systems. OEMs as well as battery and cell suppliers must continuously develop new cells and packages.

For battery-powered electric vehicles, range is a key factor, so the capacity of the traction battery system is crucial. In addition to capacity, performance and lifecycle analysis are key methods in battery development, so the test systems used to validate battery cells and packs must be state of the art.
