Gustav Tuschen joined AVL as Executive Vice President in 2022 and is responsible for business development and global operations for commercial vehicles and power systems.
Before joining AVL, the engineer and business graduate gained more than 30 years of professional experience in product and technology development, as well as in planning and strategy at Daimler AG. Between 2006 and 2011, he was Director of Product Planning at Daimler Trucks.. As of 2011 he was responsible for the overall product engineering and product strategy of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in Japan, before assuming the role of Executive Vice President Product Engineering and Procurement at Daimler Buses and EvoBus GmbH in 2013.
