Work and Live in the United States

AVL North America is headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan. The city is known for its beautiful neighborhoods and a vibrant downtown that offer a variety of shops and restaurants that surround Kellogg Park. Community members gather downtown to enjoy small-batch coffee roasting classes and movie showings at the Historic Penn Theatre. With annual activities, like the weekly concert in the park series in the summer, Pumpkin Palooza in the fall, and the Ice Festival each winter, it offers fun for all ages and draws those who live both near and far.

Beyond the headquarters campus, AVL operates two technical centers: AVL Ann Arbor Technical Center and AVL California Technical Center. Each location allows team members to be near hubs of innovation while enjoying the benefits of a vibrant community.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Ann Arbor is home to the University of Michigan, one of the largest and most prestigious public universities, while holding the largest football stadium in the U.S. The city is known for its historic charm including a vibrant arts scene, with theaters, music and food festivals, and art galleries. Ann Arbor hosts the annual Ann Arbor Art Fair, one of the largest outdoor art fairs in the country, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The city also holds over 150 parks and miles of biking and walking trails.

Lake Forest, California.

Lake Forest, California, is named after the lush, forested area surrounding its two man-made lakes, which were originally developed in the 1960s. Over the years, the city has grown into a community with a strong focus on outdoor and family-friendly activities, featuring over 25 parks and extensive hiking and biking trails. Lake Forest is known for its well-maintained parks, including the popular Serrano Creek Park. The city was once home to the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, which has since been redeveloped into the Orange County Great Park, a large public space for recreation and community events. Additionally, Lake Forest hosts annual events like the Lake Forest Summer Concert Series and a festive Fourth of July celebration.

All three cities possess excellent educational institutions and a well-developed infrastructure. Whether you’re enjoying the natural beauty of the outdoors or exploring the lively downtown, there’s always something to enjoy in these cities, making them a fantastic place to both work and call home.
