The ongoing finalization of the Euro 7 directive for passenger cars and commercial vehicles confirms the originally proposed introduction of limit values for brake emissions. Although the exact date of introduction has not yet been finalized, several operators of test facilities have already taken up this issue and are investing in the development of GTR-compliant test capacities.
