AVL Green Camp: Inspiring Young Minds in Sustainability and STEM

The fourth edition of AVL Green Camp is set to kick off, bringing excitement and learning opportunities to middle school students. Organized by AVL Italia in collaboration with the Cavriago Municipality, this unique training program aims to ignite interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines while emphasizing sustainability.

This program is organized in two phases. During the first part of the program, students will engage with an AVL expert, exploring the origins of our energy sources and understanding their impact on the planet; they will delve into the crucial role of digitalization fueled by machine learning and how energy is conserved through technology. The second phase will take place in July, when a selected group of motivated students will join us for the Green Camp Week: during this immersive experience they’ll dive into solar power exploration, learn basic computer coding, and gain insights into cutting-edge energy consumption patterns using digital platforms.
