AVL M.O.V.E FT is the first system officially accredited by the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) as an alternative to conventional emissions measurement technology under UN Regulation 168.

Engineered for real-world emissions testing, it delivers laboratory-grade accuracy in dynamic on-road conditions. The compact and rugged design replaces multiple analyzers with one integrated solution, enabling precise measurement of CO, CO₂, and NOₓ for Euro 6e testing, with optional extension to additional gas components.

For Light-Duty Testing

EURO 7 introduces stricter particle number limits down to 10 nm and adds Real Driving Emissions (RDE) limits for THC and NOx in diesel engines as well as NMHC in gasoline engines. It also requires onboard monitoring of NOx and NH₃ via OBD sensors.

China 7 follows a similar direction, targeting particles down to 10 nm and requiring NH₃ monitoring. It further expands RDE boundary conditions, including higher altitudes, with additional limits expected soon.

AVL M.O.V.E 2 is designed as a modular, future-proof system that enables cost-efficient upgrades such as NH₃ measurement or expansion to up to 20 gaseous components in parallel. PN PEMS can be upgraded to support 10 nm alongside 23 nm particles. System Control Advanced ensures seamless integration, flexible power and mounting options, and smooth operation across diverse testing environments. Compliance becomes scalable and ready for the future.

For Heavy-Duty Testing

EURO 7 HD RDE sets a new benchmark for heavy-duty vehicles by introducing stricter emission limits, reducing conformity factors, and expanding the list of regulated components. It includes PN down to 10 nm as well as NH₃, N₂O, CH₄, and NMOG, while requiring onboard monitoring of NOx, NH₃, and PM through OBD systems.

China 7 HD RDE follows this development path by implementing PN 10 nm instead of 23 nm, adding NH₃, N₂O, and CH₄ to the regulated pollutants, and tightening overall limit values under real-world conditions.

AVL M.O.V.E 2 addresses these requirements with a comprehensive system approach built around System Control Advanced. Its multi-component analyzers and sensors are optimized for low measurement ranges and precise detection of all required pollutants. Designed for flexibility and scalability, the system enables engineers to confidently meet evolving global heavy-duty emission standards.

Depending on the application and regulation, a RDE testing system consists of different modules, sensors, and their combinations. Efficient installation and operation, as well as compliance with regulations, are key.

The AVL M.O.V.E system is designed to handle the entire testing workflow, from preparation and installation to quality checks, data evaluation, and secure, revision-proof storage. At its core is the System Control Advanced, which serves as the central hub for control, data logging, and workflow automation. It connects seamlessly with various modules and sensors via Ethernet and provides access to OBD and vehicle CAN. The Quality Station enables fully automated checks of emission devices, ensuring measurement reliability and saving time. It is fully operated through System Control Advanced.
