Battery Management Systems Development/Component Engineer (m/f)

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assuming component responsibility in battery development projects
  • Liaison between battery development team, customers and external hardware suppliers
  • Coordinating the development of battery control units in Serial Development and R&D projects
  • Definition of the hardware architecture and responsibility for system integration
  • Definition and alignment of hardware requirements with the customer, internal and external development partners
  • Responsible for compliance with development processes at controller level according to ISO 26262 and ASPICE in Serial Development and R&D projects
  • Close cooperation with colleagues in System and Electrical Development throughout the entire project term and during DVP
  • Coordination and alignment with the software development team for implementation of features and maturity level coordination
Your Profile:
  • Electrical engineering or mechatronic engineering graduate of a university of technology/university of applied sciences
  • Preferably several years of experience in the automotive sector; ideally at an OEM or tier 1 in the field of control unit or HV battery system development
  • Self-directed, systematic and structured approach to work
  • Good communication skills, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Very good knowledge of English and enthusiasm for international cooperation
  • CANalyzer/CANape or INCA knowledge an advantage

Annual Remuneration:
Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 54000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
