Functional Safety Engineer Chassis f/m/d

Your Responsibilities:
  • In
  • charge of the in-house implementation of all activities concerning the functional safety of mechatronic chassis systems, in particular brake and steer by wire
  • Development and design of safety-critical systems based on the ISO26262 specifications
  • Support in the development of product concepts from a functional safety perspective
  • Hazard analyses and risk assessments plus documentation of the resulting safety targets in alignment with the customer
  • Development of functional and technical safety concepts
  • Support in the development on HW and SW level from a functional safety perspective
  • Contribution to the E/E system architecture
Your Profile:
  • Successfully completed automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, engineering management studies or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of functional safety, more specifically in process-compliant work according to ISO 26262
  • Confident user of common application, diagnostic and analysis tools
  • In-depth knowledge of common methods for the development of control units (such as SPICE) in the automotive environment would be ideal; general knowledge of development and organizational processes during system development would also be ideal
  • Very good spoken and written command of German and English
  • High degree of commitment, sense of responsibility, flexibility and social skills as well as self-directed and target-oriented approach to work

Annual Remuneration:
Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 55.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
