Specialist Technical Legislation (f/m/d, parental leave replacement)

Your Responsibilities:
  • Central point of contact at AVL in matters of global technical legislation for all vehicle and drive categories
  • Research of future trends in global technical legislation in the field of drive engineering, automotive and vehicle (trucks, tractors, motorcycle etc.)
  • Updates of acentralized information platform for global technical legislation at AVL
  • Active monitoring of the activities of legislative institutions such as EU and UNECE
  • Focus on requirements in terms of safety, crash, electrical systems, environment, emissions, driver assistancesystems, Crash, electrical systems andfull vehicle
  • Collecting, preparing and interpreting specific legislative information
  • Active knowledge management in this field
  • Carrying out studies and projects in pertinent and related areas
  • Marketing the service portfolio in the area of technical legislation
  • Development of homologation services
Your Profile:
  • Mechanical engineering, engineering management, electrical engineering, energy and environmental engineering, natural sciences or similar graduate of a secondary technical college/university of technology/university/university of applied sciences
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience in handling technical legislation and/or homologation issues
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good MS Office knowledge and knowledge of internet research
  • Very good knowledge of English, additional languages an advantage
  • Analytical skills
  • Self-directed and service-oriented approach to work

Annual Remuneration:
Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 42,000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
