Senior Development Hardware Engineer / Department Manager f/m/d

Your Responsibilities:
  • Managing a development team of 6 to 8 people (embedded HW/SW, electronics, mechanical systems)
  • Development and industrialization of hardware for power electronics, measurement and control electronics of AC/DC, DC/DC converter systems and components
  • Analysis and design of system architectures, and selection of new technologies for pre-development and series production
  • Specification, design, integration and validation of electronic assemblies and systems
  • Reliable and proficient validation and qualification of various assemblies and interfaces
  • Circuit simulation (both analog & digital)
  • Supporting the design/product FMEA
  • Expert product maintenance support
Your Profile:
  • Master or PhD degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, telematics or similar
  • Several years of experience in the management of development teams (> 4 team members)
  • Profound technical knowledge of high-frequency power electronics, embedded SW/HW design, converter topologies, wide-band-gap semiconductors
  • Excellent knowledge of power semiconductors (MOSFET, IGBT, SIC, GaN)
  • Pronounced problem-solving skills, solution-oriented thinking, analytical skills
  • Well networked with research establishments and suppliers
  • Structured, precise and reliable working attitude
  • Convincing personality, experience in interdisciplinary cooperation
  • Self-directed, systematic and analytical approach to work
  • Teamwork skills, social skills and assertiveness
  • Very good spoken and written command of English (level C1)

Annual Remuneration:
Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 80.000,--. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
