The AVL Tank Heating Unit (THU) i60 is a state-of-the-art solution designed to perform running loss tests. It simulates the heat radiation from the road asphalt in summer conditions by blowing hot air to the fuel tank on the vehicle underbody.

In combination with the AVL Point Source Sampling System, it provides a cost-effective alternative to conventional Running-Loss test cells and is essential for accurate and efficient emission testing.

The AVL Tank Heating Unit i60 serves as a reliable and efficient solution for running loss test applications. As environmental regulations become increasingly stringent, the ability to accurately measure and control emissions is vital. The THU i60 not only ensures compliance with these regulations but also helps manufacturers improve their products' environmental performance and thus contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
