Examples for supported standard solutions include: End-of-Line Loaded Hot Test Systems Quality Audit (QA) / Conformity of Production (COP) Systems Qualified Hot Test Systems End-of-Line Engine Cold Test In-Process Verification Test System (IPV) AVL Guarantees Turnkey systems that suit each application and customer requirement Huge experience thanks to numerous turnkey projects globally Consistency between AVL test systems with our Integrated and Open Development Platform. High-precision measurements with reproducible results
The development of modern vehicles with extremely complex powertrain concepts puts high requirements on new development and validation methods with the associated tools. In order to save costs and reduce development times, road tests are increasingly being transferred to vehicle testbeds and replaced by simulation. Transferability and a balance between the individual test environments (off-line simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, component testbed, vehicle testbed, road, etc.) must be guaranteed.
Motorcycles and all kinds of power products as well as recreational products used on water, air and solid ground demanding best suitable technology and perfect quality but still at highly attractive cost.
AVL is now offering its comprehensive know-how and decades of expertise in new technologies to the maritime business. For that reason, high-tech company AVL recently dropped anchor in Hamburg and opened its very first AVL maritime office in the north German port city of Hamburg. AVL Marine specializes in the optimization of vessel operation, new technology integration, digitalization, efficiency enhancement and solutions for clean air. Numerous customers and partners were welcomed at the official opening of the representative office located at Caffamacherreihe 7. Market segments relying on propulsion and energy production technologies are currently facing a host of challenges. It is no different in the maritime industry, where there is a growing demand for solutions in clean energy production. AVL Marine in Hamburg caters specifically to customer groups such as shipyards, industrial partners, classification societies, ship owners, ship operators and charterers, and supports them in their efforts to meet these ambitious challenges. The range of activities AVL Marine focuses on includes use of new fuels, reduction of exhaust gas emissions, hybridization and electrification, digital solutions to meet the stricter regulations, engineering services, system simulation, operation optimization and much more.
