AVL International Simulation Conference 2017

27th - 29th of June, 2017

Messe Congress Graz, Graz, Austria

Online Registration

AVL cordially invites you to join us on June 27-29, 2017 in Graz, Austria for the AVL International Simulation Conference 2017. This biennial conference runs for the 8th time and will bring together technical experts, thought leaders and key decision makers within the automotive industry.

The three day conference will revolve around the latest simulation methodologies applied to key development goals for clean and affordable mobility, such as real-driving emissions, powertrain efficiency, electrification, durability and NVH.

In addition to the well-known and highly appreciated conference tracks on design analysis and optimization in the areas of structural and thermo-fluid dynamics as well as vehicle system simulation, we will discuss the benefits and challenges of a synergetic use of simulation and testing throughout the development process from design to testing to calibration based on AVL’s Integrated and Open Development Platform as enabler of Model Based Development.

Participants will gain maximum benefit from the conference through the right balance between customer presentations and latest information about AVL´s current developments in the field of Design Optimization and Model Based Development combined with a mutual exchange of practical experiences.

Review

With approximately 400 participants, the AVL AST International User Conference 2015 set a new visitor record. Simulation experts from over 30 countries gathered in Graz, Austria at the end of June to discuss and hear about current industry developments and innovations. The technical program included more than 70 interesting user presentations in the fields Structure Dynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics and System Simulation. Insightful keynote speeches from BMW, Continental, Denso, Porsche and Wärtsilä rounded off the extensive range of lectures. Another conference highlight was the exhibition consisting of a comprehensive AVL Booth and 7 exhibitor stands. Here, participants could experience the AVL Integrated Open Development Platform with its first product Model.CONNECT™ which was launched during this conference.
