The AVL Inverter TS™ provides a safe and flexible testing environment to develop and validate inverters and other power electronics components with a system voltage of up to 1000 volts. Based on high-precision electric motor emulation technology, it allows for the testing and optimization of inverter functions as well as failure situations such as phase breaks or short circuits under real power conditions. The integrated motor model software and high-performance electronics enable the realistic replication of all common types of electric motors with varying phase counts. Thus, powerful test equipment based on SiC technology is available for inverter testing, accurately replicating the real physics of an electric motor with the highest precision.
