Project Engineer - Transmission Calibration (#2019-2368)
Project Engineer—Transmission Calibration for an independent company in Plymouth, MI engaged in the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines & transmissions as well as instrumentation and test systems. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience defining, planning & performing transmission and vehicle powertrain calibration for transmission and hybrid vehicles for OEM customers including reviewing engineering projects for compliance with engineering principles, project specifications and transmission & hybrid vehicle calibration regulations; performing transmission control & hybrid calibration using Vector CANape; planning and executing engine testing procedures, driveability benchmarks, data acquisition analysis & validation using MATLAB, Simulink and executing transmission and vehicle powertrain calibration and development activities using advanced calibration tools for driveability.
